"10/10 the food was amazing, prices were great. It was clean and we got cool bibs to keep us clean. They even showed us how to properly open up the crabs which was super nice because we were struggling. But again food was 10/10 and the staff is also 10/10."

"Hidden gem right by Morningside Park. Great place to grab a bite outdoors with family and friends and for any tourist in the area! Food was delicious at very affordable prices. We tried crab legs, blue crab, Cajun corn and a cheeseburger, next time we'll try the hot dog! They also have happy hour early which is nice."

"I've been to multiple seafood boil spots especially cross country, but this one is MY FAVORITE EVER! I love coming here, it's makes my heart warm each and every single time I step foot to eat here. I highly recommend this spot to all my seafood lovers!"

"10/10! Went with my family (group of 6) on a Saturday afternoon for my dad’s birthday and everyone enjoyed the food and experience. Delicious food and drinks, attentive staff, fast service, and beautiful restaurant and decor. I look forward to coming back!"

"A great seafood spot! We really enjoyed the delicious soup and flavorful sauces. The calamari was especially impressive—soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The staff was very friendly and attentive, offering helpful recommendations that made the meal even better. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent good with good prices. The shrimp (4/5) and the crab (5/5) is succulent and flavorful. For $40 you can easily feed 2 people. They also have great Cajun fries (3.5/5). Service is fast but make sure to reserve cause this place packs up."

"The Seafood BOIL!!!! OMG, this spot is amazing! Right next door to the roasted duck/pork place (also good) if you want a meat and seafood evening ;) the seafood boil is super fresh, made with your choice of sauce/seasonings, corn on the cob and an egg! Not to be missed - the fish and shrimp fry! The fried shrimp are a good size - these are not teeny tiny but actual a solid two-bites sized - and FRESH FRESH FRESH, soooo good, seasoned just right. To-go they added tartar sauce which I like :) but back to the seafood boil… It’s enough for 2 or 3 but we’ve seen people in groups order individually and throw down!!! The Chubby Crab may seem like a take-out spot but they do accept reservations and on a busy Friday or Saturday night I would highly recommend calling and making a reservation if you want one of the maybe 6 tables inside - they go fast and again, people are throwing down on the shrimps, lobsters and crabs! As much as I’m germ-phobic, I admit I licked my fingers the seafood boil and fried shrimp was so good 😊 We plan to go back and order the shrimp fried rice and orange shrimp, those dishes also peaked my interest but we had so much food already! Pro-tip - the duck line next door runs around 35 to 45 min. Stand with your friend until you reach the door of the Chubby Crab, go inside or place your order online at that point. Before the time your friend gets inside of the duck place, your order will be ready and steaming hot hot hot. Also, the duck place is cash only but The Chubby Crab accepts debit and credit cards!"

"The food was fresh and flavorful. Nothing we eat had that “fishy” smell which was great. Nice place if you looking for some good eats and to chill. There is other food on the menu not just sea food so if you going with friends they have other options. Not really a place you make a reservation, just grab a table and get some food 😌"

"I would like to say I loved everything about this place from the person at the front desk that gives you a great introduction to the place down to the servers that go above and beyond to make sure your experience was worth the trip and price. It’s a buffet style dining experience with price ranging from $90 per person to $120 per person. The menu was vastly superior to most restaurants and they offered a great variety of food options. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I’d say make sure to visit on an empty stomach."

- Jacqueline Harvey Ewusi

"I recently visited The Crab House NYC, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The food was okay, but I found it highly overpriced for the quality. It seemed like everything was being cooked at the same temperature, which left some dishes well-prepared while others fell flat — definitely a hit or miss. They offer a birthday special, but note that you need to come with at least three other people in order to eat for free, which isn’t made very clear upfront. On the positive side, the servers were excellent — attentive, friendly, and really added to the experience. Unfortunately, the inconsistency in the food and the high prices made it hard to fully enjoy the meal."

"If you love lobster, this is the place to be. Everything was extremelyfresh. we especially enjoyed the salt and pepper, fried lobster and raw oysters. Everything else was at least eight out of 10. The flat iron steaks spicy blue crab was 9 out of 10. The service was outstanding. I’m glad I don’t live close to here because I’ll gain 100 pounds. Overall this was a wonderful experience. I’m glad that I came."

"Went here with friends and the host was really helpful. He was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and had enough room for our motorized chairs. Since we were new, he explained the contactless buffet and how the menu worked. He combined two tables and left garbage cans to throw our trash away which was nice. The food was hot and beyond delicious. Staff was attentive and food kept coming: Seafood, chicken, fish, steak, rice...just yummi. Even the water was good. Only thing missing was dessert, but since we were in Coney Island, we had options. Yes, the price tag was high but its worth it ($90 seafood, $135 to include lobster) with a 2 hr time limit (it's more than enough). Will definitely visit again. 😋❤️"

"If you’re looking for top-notch seafood in NYC, Cull & Pistol is an absolute must-visit. Located in Chelsea Market, this place delivers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The seafood is exceptionally fresh, with a menu that showcases the best of what the ocean has to offer. Their oysters are some of the best I’ve had—perfectly shucked, briny, and delicious. The lobster roll is phenomenal, packed with tender, buttery lobster meat, and the grilled octopus is cooked to perfection. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is fantastic—bustling but not overwhelming, with a stylish yet welcoming vibe. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the best pairings or daily specials. Whether you’re a seafood aficionado or just looking for an amazing meal in NYC, Cull & Pistol delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!"

"We always get the lobster poutine when we visit and it never disappoints. We love it with extra cheese curds and gravy and it makes for an excellent indulgence. We also ordered the scallops and asked for it just be pan seared and it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned."

"Loved it! We ordered the jumbo tray with hot sauce, a bag of crawfish, a bag of lobster tails and some sides to go with it. It was delicious The staff were really friendly. Portions were so generous. The music was great. We walked out feeling so full - mind, body and soul!"

"The food here is delicious, and the fact that it came out pipping hot is what made it excellent for me. Snow crab legs were succulent and cooked to perfection. The garlic noodles and corn were a hit for as well. We were here to celebrate a birthday, and the wait staff took care of our birthday lady. I'll definitely be back!!!"

"Visited today with my family. Overall, it was an okay experience. We tried their famous Dancing Shrimp, presentation was impressive, but the flavor didn’t quite match the hype. The oysters were just okay and pretty small, not the best spot if you’re an oyster lover. Fried calamari, on the other hand, was tasty and well-cooked. The kids had mac & cheese, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a hit with them. On the bright side, our server was kind and attentive, offering alternative options for the kids, which we really appreciated."

"We stumbled on this unassuming gem upon arriving to NYC while waiting for our hotel to be ready. Upon arrival, Richard (the GM), immediately greeted us with warmth and stories, along with menu recommendations and delicious drinks. We spent a wonderful afternoon lunch on the patio, and felt so at home that we came back 2 other times during the trip! This will now be our go-to. The staff genuinely LOVE their job. And you can tell Richard loves the staff as much as they love him. Truly a family feel with incredible food. Highly, highly recommend!"

"Nice breeze, free mini golf, but the food is mediocre at best. Mussels were not fresh, deviled eggs were the worst. Everything else was so so. We spent $240 total for 3 people (two adults, one kid). I will not be visiting again for the food. Maybe I'll stop by for drinks at night."

- Fala Li

"My partner and I went here on Valentine’s Day and got the three-course prix fixe. The atmosphere was lively, the service was excellent, and I definitely want to come back in the summer season. There are multiple outdoor spaces and almost all the windows open fully. The cocktails and the food we had were great and overall nothing was too expensive."

"Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch next to the little island. Great atmosphere and efficient service. The spring rolls are okay, but I had the salon and added the rice, which I highly recommend. It’s a market style seating, and what’s great is that it isn’t super crowded. There are also cool bars in the market as well."

"Fish tacos and fish and chips, fabulous! 2 people stopped us eating to ask where we got our food. Such a good experience, beautiful view if you walk past the market and look out at the water."
