"Place is not bad, sliders could've been cooked longer when asked for medium well and Sriracha sauce tasted more like a relish sauce. Wings were fine not your traditional lemon pepper. Drinks were good we had the rum punch. The drink menu needs to be updated to include the type of alcohol they had. The rasta pasta was really tasty I had it with shrimp. The service was friendly. Our server was the bartender and she did amazing. I've been to places with more staff and worst service. The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because they didn't have the actual apps and entrees we were interested in and we went when the place just opened. Outside of that good spot will try again."

"The food was excellent. I ordered the catfish po boy sandwich minus the bread, that catfish was the bomb dot com. Fried to perfection came out piping hot. I also ordered the red beans and rice with smoked sausage. The rice and beans were good and the sausage had a good spice to it. I also Ordered the the steamed greens which came out piping hot and very tasty and the slab o Corn bread which was oh so tasty. I also ordered the gator 🐊 sausage casserole 🥘. Which was also good too. I would order everything again. First time there. Sat at the bar with the bartender Mark and the server Bell. They were very nice and professional and recommended these dishes to try and I did. The atmosphere was wonderful I love the look of the place the inside decor was fantastic."

"Like most Chinese buffets, the food wasn’t anything special. But we were happy with how many different options there were. There’s something for everyone seafood, meat, fruits, desserts. One thing we really liked was how often they brought out fresh food. Even when something was not gone, like a quarter of a cake, they still replaced it with a new one. We were there for about 30 minutes, and they refilled most trays more than once. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the sushi. We tried a few pieces and they didn’t taste good at all."

"I went here with my family for lunch today 4/12… I went here before a couple times… firstly the buffet was very crowded so we got sat in the party room and we were the only ones there in the room and it was good since it was quiet in there…Now to the food. There are a decent amount of options from fried food to specialty foods. They also have a sushi bar and a Hibatchi area for food to be cook in front of you. The problem I found with some of the food items I ate was that some of them was luke warm and it wasn’t that good especially the Beef and broccoli which the beef I got was cold and I didn’t eat it. The foods I did enjoy was the ribs and the shrimp and I got a few plates of that… when we finished our food we got our check. And we were still eating our desert and the lady kept coming about every 2 minutes to see if we paid and after a while it got annoying so we paid and left.. Overall my experience here today was so-so from the service to the food. I will still come here in the future since they closed the buffet I used to go to a while back. Hopefully my experience then will be better than today!!"

"Oh, the Baltimore Blue Crabs In A Garlic Sauce is the bomb; I always get it. That dish with New England Clam Chowder and a side of baked potatoes is the perfect combo. "I had an incredible dinner at The Crab Shanty in City Island! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. I ordered the filet mignon with lobster tail, and it was absolutely perfect—the filet was tender and cooked to perfection, and the lobster tail was buttery, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully plated. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and you can really tell they take pride in what they do. "I had lunch with my husband and daughter at this restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and our server Shayla was very kind. I love the crab fries. "This is a neighborhood restaurant I visit at least once every other month. I loved this place and i like rewarding myself with a boil . But I keep noticing these old potatoes everytime I go there since the ending of 2024. I complaint the last time about the potatoes but keep getting the same results with takeout . This Mother’s Day I ordered 2 bags of seafood boil that was so small in size that amounted to $86 , online there is a promotion (spend $66, get fried wings ) I added it and made my purchase just to be told they would not honor what was advertised online because it was Mother’s Day . That was sad and a horrible excuse to not honor what was advertised on the website. Sad to say but I won’t be returning ."

They had 1 lady doing tables and taking to go orders inside and outside? This was my first time so I definitely was a bit confused. Anyway my food was not how my friend described. I ordered barlic flavor. It had a taste of lemon, some fresh garlic, watery butter and cheese on top??? Idk what I ate. "I've been following the cook Rohan for years as his food has always been delicious. When I heard he opened a new spot I was eager to try to make sure the quality was the same. I came here for lunch with a friend of mine. And I can say food quality and taste are very high. I ordered the fried fish meal which came with festival, bommy, pasta, corn and pepper shrimp. You will be stuffed. My friend ordered the brown stew with rice and peace. Everything was delicious!!. And the prices are fair especially for what you get. The staff was so friendly and the cook himself brought us over to the dinning area for the full experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be going back on a monthly basis."

"Food is so delicious. Well seasoned and tasty. Rohan catered for my aunt's home homegoing and that was my first time having food from this restaurant. I finally found the location last week and ordered fried chicken, vegetable rasta pasta, goat head soup and peppered shrimp. He didn't disappoint. So I went back and ordered a half pan of fried chicken. Everything well seasoned. Will spread the word. Try for yourself. Great tasty jamaican food."

"If I can give it 0 stars I would. The crab legs and the scallops were flavor-less. Literally no taste to the scallops like zero seasoning put on it. The shrimp was ok. I ordered the Old Bay sauce but there was no sauce. Just a little bit of old bay water. The potato’s also had no flavor. The corn wasn’t crisp. It was an all around disappointment. The food was mediocre. Even with the old bay seasoning on the food it still tasted like nothing, it’s like that’s literally the only thing they added to the food."

"Wow this food was amazing we order 1lb of the king crab and the snow crab legs with corn and broccoli on the side. The bags came with potatoes and corn already didn’t know that but the corn in the bag is saturated in the sauce I loved it but my mom thought it was too much nonetheless I will be ordering again."

"The food at the Holy Crab is very tasteful. I've had the shrimp and fries, the chicken jambalaya which is delicious and has a good amount of chicken and rice. The drinks here are great too! I recommend the pineapple margarita. My friends and I frequent here for lunch, one of our go to spots! The staff is very nice and attentive as well. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious too."

"I should’ve listened to the reviews but my mother INSISTED to go here. We didnt dine in we ordered to go. So i guess when u dont dine in your food isnt prioritized because i definitely got the bottom of the barrel. I ordered full size snow crab and they were not fresh. The meat was greenish, black all through the shells. The shells were soft and would not crack and the meat was skinny and discolored. I was too upset bc i rode far to this area and paid $78 for 2 hard end pieces of corn, rotting crab, and 5 little pieces of broccoli that i paid extra for."
