"I love coming here with my daughter she love her some seafood boil and garlic noodles! The flavor is so impeccable, delicious, scrumptious. We devour them crabs, corn, potatoes , but the sauce give it a taste better then red crabs! 10/10 ❗️They gotten more seats more space parking in front and all around, nice calm place."

"I went there with my more to have a casual dinner. The restaurant was well lit nice and clean. The food was off the hook one of the best sea food boils I have tried but the star of the show was the warm welcome and hospitality of our servers Shiva and Alex. They really made us feel welcomed. Their hospitality and service was top notch . I too am in the restaurant industry and they are a Jem to have run your place. Amazing experience."

"The food was outstanding. Although service was good, the restaurant was short-staffed during after-school hours. Our waitress provided excellent service, demonstrating remarkable memory, but was responsible for multiple tables, requiring us to seek assistance from the busser. We also needed to inquire about a missing platter for the birthday girl. Ultimately, all our needs were met. The children, including the birthday girl, received complimentary ice cream. The flounder Po Boy I ordered was tasty but could have included an additional piece of fish. The restaurant's atmosphere is exceptionally relaxed and comfortable. The presence of a DJ kit in the dining area suggests an energetic ambiance on weekend evenings. This venue is ideal for birthday celebrations, and I would definitely return. The restaurant's location within a mall offers convenient and free parking."

"My sister and I always come here and the vibes are everything!!! The DJ is fire asf, our waitress Crystal always makes sure we’re taken cared of, respectful and just the best! The drinks are top notch, I mean have you on ya ass!!! It’s never a dull moment at this Hook & Reel, and I suggest everyone to come to this location. 10/10 definitely recommend!!!!"

"I would like to say I loved everything about this place from the person at the front desk that gives you a great introduction to the place down to the servers that go above and beyond to make sure your experience was worth the trip and price. It’s a buffet style dining experience with price ranging from $90 per person to $120 per person. The menu was vastly superior to most restaurants and they offered a great variety of food options. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I’d say make sure to visit on an empty stomach."

- Jacqueline Harvey Ewusi

"I recently visited The Crab House NYC, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The food was okay, but I found it highly overpriced for the quality. It seemed like everything was being cooked at the same temperature, which left some dishes well-prepared while others fell flat — definitely a hit or miss. They offer a birthday special, but note that you need to come with at least three other people in order to eat for free, which isn’t made very clear upfront. On the positive side, the servers were excellent — attentive, friendly, and really added to the experience. Unfortunately, the inconsistency in the food and the high prices made it hard to fully enjoy the meal."

"If you love lobster, this is the place to be. Everything was extremelyfresh. we especially enjoyed the salt and pepper, fried lobster and raw oysters. Everything else was at least eight out of 10. The flat iron steaks spicy blue crab was 9 out of 10. The service was outstanding. I’m glad I don’t live close to here because I’ll gain 100 pounds. Overall this was a wonderful experience. I’m glad that I came."

"Went here with friends and the host was really helpful. He was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and had enough room for our motorized chairs. Since we were new, he explained the contactless buffet and how the menu worked. He combined two tables and left garbage cans to throw our trash away which was nice. The food was hot and beyond delicious. Staff was attentive and food kept coming: Seafood, chicken, fish, steak, rice...just yummi. Even the water was good. Only thing missing was dessert, but since we were in Coney Island, we had options. Yes, the price tag was high but its worth it ($90 seafood, $135 to include lobster) with a 2 hr time limit (it's more than enough). Will definitely visit again. 😋❤️"

"The prices were affordable compared to other places for sure! The house blend was our favorite flavor and it was so good! The service was also very on point and they were very attentive but not overly so. Would definitely come again!"

"I was craving mac and cheese and calamari and found the perfect place to try. Fried calamari was 10/10 and it comes with fries. Mac and Cheese (with cajun) was 9/10 just because I’ve had others that were a bit more flavorful but will absolutely recommend both and the place itself. The decor was so cute. (I had a takeout order)"

"Really good restaurant good food as always You can eat at the restaurant or chose to go. Flavor never changes. Since they opened until now I been eating here frequently and I love it every time even more. You can place an order from the website and get points. Each dollar spend equals 1 point (100 points gets you 10 dollars off ) you pay when you pick up. NO Tap just fisical card or cash. The only thing I wish they can improve is the alcohols drinks. But the food always the best. I love Garcia noodles and snow crab legs"

"This was the first time I had a seafood boil. It definitely didn't disappoint. It was very flavorful and delicious. Though some issues I had was that it's a little salty. The restaurant didn't have some of the drinks I wanted to try either. They were busy so the service is also slow. This was a pretty decent spot to eat though."

- Erik Z

"This restaurant is not very big but it is clean and cozy. Love the decoration and how bright it is inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, if I can rate more than 5 stars, her service should be 7 out of 5! As for the food, it is not bad, not bad at all. But it tastes like the seafood was just defrosted after we ordered. And…. it is not Cajun, at least not the Cajun seafood boil I have tried. There is butter, lemon and a bit of Cajun seasoning but it tastes more like garlic butter seafood in Chinese style. And the clams are really small for its price, eggs are cold (almost like they were taken out from the fridge directly). The chicken wings are very good tho. Overall, service is good but the seafood boil isn’t my favourite."

"Nice atmosphere! Waiter was a but slow & ignored us several times! Food was good! Tomahawk was a bit on the smaller size than I'm use to but tastes ok!! Clam chowder was delicious & flan was delicious but presentation needed help!!"

"Fast service, nice atmosphere, and decent selection. When entering, seating was prompt and the server was immediate with his preparation of the menus. The service was very efficient and friendly, with orders being taken within 8 minutes of looking at the menu. Ordered the lemon sole and it was well-prepared, being fresh and falling apart easily. Bonus to the restaurant for noting our request for no dairy to be used. Overall, a pretty good experience visiting this spot if you're looking to spend a bit more for a nice date over seafood."

"The Ribeye, Snowcrab legs and Branzino were not only delicious but reasonably priced and they had a solid pour with my martini. The food was equally satisfying—everything arrived on time and was full of flavor. The service stood out as well—our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the quality matched the price perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!"

"We went to this place for mothers day and I enjoyed the food so much. We ordered the steak, seafood boil and salmon. The only thing is the music is too loud we could barely hear each other. Were a party of 6 and it was hard to hear what the person on the other end of the table is saying. Also, theres an auto 18% gratuity in the bill. I guess thats because were a large group. I'll go back with my husband again."

"I'd like to begin by saying that I wasn't particularly fond of the dollar cocktails; They taste like juice and water. I would suggest sticking to the beer and wine from the menu. The food was incredibly satisfying. Each seafood dish was perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed a little of everything--the lobster roll, crab legs, calamari, and shrimp--and it was all delicious. The service was wonderful, with the waitstaff being very attentive. The restroom was exceptionally clean. The restaurant and restroom had a pleasant, softly lit ambiance. I would highly recommend this establishment for large parties. There was an abundant amount of food. It was delicious."

- t Vega

"This place is really dope! We sat at the bar waiting for the rest of my party to arrive and there was happy hour on drinks and food. The drinks were strong asf I nursed that lychee martini the whole time lol. When we sat at the table there's a paper and pencil for u to circle everything that you want. Then they just keep bringing food until u say stop. The food is delicious! This is def a spot worth checking out! I would suggest making reservations!"

"Pros - Amazing food! I would go as far to say it was the best authentic food I’ve ever tasted - Waitress was nice Cons - Didn’t feel welcomed there. As soon as we arrived the hosts didn’t even smile and refused to sit me and my guest at another table when requested. Despite this we stayed to eat. - We asked for wine and the host said they do not sell alcohol but when another family of the same racial and ethnic group as the host walked in they were greeted with big smiles and given a choice of several wine options. Interesting… - Me and my guest ordered the most expensive item on the menu. We ordered the whole king crab, shrimp fried rice, and bok Choy. We also wanted a lobster and the waiter talked us out of it. My concern is why are you telling us no when we are saying this is what we want? Is it because of how me and my guest look? Did she think we were getting out of our budget? These people do not realize that I could have been a millionaire or billionaire. No one should ever “assume” what someone can and cannot afford. Would hate to have to buy that restaurant. You never know! So we didn’t get the lobster 🦞 unfortunately because we wanted that too. - When they brought out our food it was placed in a way that nothing could be reached without us getting up. Interestingly enough when a family of the same racial and ethnic background received their food they gave them a table food spinner so they did not have to reach over and get up to get their food. We spent over $500 and that is the treatment we got. I would never ever again step a foot in a restaurant that wants my money but treats me so poorly. It was obvious they did not want us there. Well although their food was the best because they do not know how to treat paying customers of diverse backgrounds who are not from where they come from with any level of kindness I will not return. If you want great food I highly recommend this place but if you want to be treated nice and feel welcomed go somewhere else."

- Jasmine Bratton-Robinson

"The entire experience is getting worse and worse every time I visit. Spare ribs are mostly fatty, string beans unpicked, rice looked and tasted like overnight leftover, soup bowl cracked. The food came out cold. Won’t come back any more."

"Neither order is correct both orders were supposed to half half a pound of crab leg and it was not in there. The store was called immediately and they refused to fix the issue . This ordered was placed today as in 15 minutes ago. Not only did I offer to send them the pictures of the their mistake to allow them to fix it but they proceeded to call me a liar . In light of protecting my integrity and character in as many aspects of my life as I can hear you go . Both of my orders were to include half a pound of crab legs I was absolutely not sent that , I was sent one order with no crab legs at all and another with 1 individual crab leg instead of the cluster that is supposed to be provided as the store member stated on the phone . A picture speaks louder than a million words as a business it is never a bad idea to call a client a liar especially without good faith in trying to make sure the circumstance permits hesitance . Thank you all for reading . I will NEVER BE DINING IN TO THIS RESTAURANT NOR WILL I EVER BE ORDERING FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN."

"Yea, I have to be honest. I’ve been ordering from this sea food place for a while now. Sometimes it’s a hit or a miss but lately it’s really been a miss. I noticed they DO NOT CLEAN THE SEA FOOD PROPERLY. The crab legs are extremely DIRTY !!! The Shrimp STILL have poop 💩 in it… Whatever method they are using back there to prepare this food is NOT CLEAN OR SANITARY!! The Corn isn’t CLEAN PROPERLY, The Potatoes isn’t CLEAN PROPERLY. They are mismanaging this place, They are NOT CLEANING THE SEA FOOD PROPERLY & it’s extremely expensive for the CUSTOMER NOT TO GET WHAT THEY ORDERED & GET CLEAN SEAFOOD. Something needs to be done or they need to SHUT DOWN THIS LOCATION. It’s a HEALTH HAZARD to the community."
