"The Lobster Rolls🦞 🥖 here are great & tasty. With the sauces included is a + but with out it, it's still excellent. With the Canjun Fries🍟 is even better. The service was great & the staff was attentive & nice. I would definitely be back & i recommend this place for your seafood boil. 🥖🦞🦀🦐🥘🍴🧈🥤"

"First time here. Was looking forward to checking this place out and eating here. Food was ok. Very pricey. Had I known that I would have just gone to city island. Nothing to rave about. My corn dog was falling off the stick, my drink was watery and we weren’t even given crab crackers or crab forks. Some pieces didn’t need the tool but others did. I’m guessing they wanted me to use my teeth and break them while I cracked the crab legs. This place was def a one time thing. I could have fed my entire family of 5 for the price they charged for 2 people elsewhere."

"I love this place so much! The seafood boils within Manhattan simply cannot compare in terms of BOTH quality and price - which is insane! I came in for lunch on Tuesday and got shrimp head-on, black mussels and crawfish. Every single thing was delicious and the sauce was just so savory and flavorful (I got the house special, fire spice sauce). The server was also wonderful and helpful - he helped me pick the right order and was really attentive. I will definitely be back again!"

- Natasha Low

"I ordered delivery from this location and the potatoes were rotten. My man bit into his potato and it was black. I called the store to inform them that the food was not edible. The man on the phone who claimed to be the manager was like “he doesn’t see my order” he was very rude and inconsiderate. He basically was like oh well contact support on the website and there isn’t even a support number online. I asked if there was a way to accommodate me and he hung up on me. I attached pictures and a video. I wasn’t mad until the manager was so rude and insensitive to serving my family rotten food. A waste of money! I’ll stay away from this location."

"Outstanding experience! Victor is the man. Try to get a table outside or in the back if possible for more atmosphere. Great value in the enormous entrees - shared 2 entrees between 3 people and it was more than enough food. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to return."

- Madeleine Root

"Our waiterwas Moises, he was very good and attentive. The food was fresh and fulfilling. I ordered the margarita and it was the best I ever had. I don’t know what they doing back there but the whole team here was definitely on point. This will definitely be my primary choice. Next time I come to city Island."

"Update...3/8 against my advice and review my family decided to try this place, my sis never been here so we gave it a shot. My main issue was the waitress had a cold and snot tissue in her hand. I tried to get a pic, but she tossed it by the time she returned to the table. Then she forgot the drinks and an order, no biggie, but the food she gave us was incorrect. We kept it, even paid for it. She said she had adhd...idk what happened, I thought for sure she would be a vibe. 1/20 Got there @ 9:11 and was passed 2x by an Asian girl and overlooked by the girl sitting beside the door. The Hispanic male also stood there never acknowledging me. Finally I asked @ 9:17 how long do I have to wait to be seated? He gon ask the other girl in the corner, i didn't even see her. She gon look at the time and say 9:15. I said I been in here since 9:11 and you (pointing to the Hispanic dude saw me when I walked in. The other girl sitting by the door ran to help the guy that came through the door, only to see he was with me. Her turn of shame was priceless. The girl from the corner proceeded to show me a sign that the last seating was @ 9:15. I said it's cool, but it was very rude and u professional how this all transpired. If I had not asked y'all would not have said nothing. The girl from the corner offered her apologies, but the damage was done. I called on Saturday and spoke to an Asian man I believe. He was so nice and welcoming, to bad the call didn't match the experience. We would have taken the food to go, but that wasn't even offered. It's cool google says they have another location on 161st street"

"Oh, the Baltimore Blue Crabs In A Garlic Sauce is the bomb; I always get it. That dish with New England Clam Chowder and a side of baked potatoes is the perfect combo. The rich flavors are so satisfying, and the garlic sauce is the best. Every time I go there, the service is always great, with friendly servers. DIVE SEAFOOD JOINT."

"I had an incredible dinner at The Crab Shanty in City Island! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. I ordered the filet mignon with lobster tail, and it was absolutely perfect—the filet was tender and cooked to perfection, and the lobster tail was buttery, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything was beautifully plated. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and you can really tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you're a seafood lover or in the mood for a hearty steak, this place delivers. Definitely a must-visit if you're in City Island!"

"We had a great time at this seafood spot! Everything looked fresh and came out piping hot. I ordered the fried fish platter, which was crispy and flavorful without being greasy. The coleslaw and tartar sauce were a perfect pairing. The lobster tail was juicy and buttery-simple but done right. And the crab cake? Loaded with lump crab and barely any filler- a standout. The restaurant had a laid-back, clean vibe with a nice view if you're sitting by the window. Service was friendly and fast, and the portions were generous. Highly recommend it if you're craving classic, well-cooked seafood done right!"

"This is a staple restaurant in city island! And the food is pretty decent but overall service was mediocre. The ambience is pretty nice especially if you come in the warmer months, they offer outdoor seating. We came here hoping for have lunch but they only serve dinner Friday- Sunday from 11:30 AM. Which to me is very strange. But we didn’t know and at that point, it is what it is. But if you looking for a nice dinner; def worth checking out!"

"The atmosphere was pretty good, people having fun, DJ good music, I came to order takeout and took quite a while to be able to put my order in. They had 1 lady doing tables and taking to go orders inside and outside? This was my first time so I definitely was a bit confused. Anyway my food was not how my friend described. I ordered barlic flavor. It had a taste of lemon, some fresh garlic, watery butter and cheese on top??? Idk what I ate. I assumed it was how it comes, sent my friend a picture and she said what the hell is that.I drove all the way from Staten island and I must say I am disappointed and sad city island was closing."

- Ms. Kay Brown

"The food was good and the music is good on a Friday night. The only thing I didn't like that I ordered a Fish 🥣 and asked for it to go and recieved a pouch....what happened to the rest of my drink. It's a young crowd vibe. What we got was not worth $302, that's for sure. I will not be back"

"I was told by my colleagues that this was a teacher's place, meaning a restaurant where teachers go to celebrate the last day of school, a momentous occasion, etc. This place had everybody there...teachers, families, younger generation hanging out near the mini arcade. There's music, drinks, seafood, burgers, hot dogs, fries. You can opt to sit inside or outside. Casual wear."

"I should’ve listened to the reviews but my mother INSISTED to go here. We didnt dine in we ordered to go. So i guess when u dont dine in your food isnt prioritized because i definitely got the bottom of the barrel. I ordered full size snow crab and they were not fresh. The meat was greenish, black all through the shells. The shells were soft and would not crack and the meat was skinny and discolored. I was too upset bc i rode far to this area and paid $78 for 2 hard end pieces of corn, rotting crab, and 5 little pieces of broccoli that i paid extra for."

"Whoever cooked this. I hope I pray to God that you’re fine. A job that you will love. It’s not necessary to pull more than 1 pound of garlic on this. May 16. 6:00 pm. Please please quit your job if you don’t have the passion to do the cooking. 🙏🏾"
